The Wine Cellar Design

In rich tradition of dark stained oak wine storage, this wine display has a modern uplift of matt black doors and gun metal finish cabinet hardware.

The Vinomagna signature internal storage offers lower wine cases storage, feature premium pitched bottles and overhead upright standing champagne bottles.

The LED lighting is the upper end of warm at 4000k, leaning toward a cooler lit modern look.

To ensure no usage damage to the lower-case shelving, we fit clear replaceable acrylic protection.

This protects the oak from the chaffing damage wooden wine cases cause.

The pitched bottles rows have been lined with a black flocking to cushion the wine bottles in this area.

In addition, cross box storage has been featured to increase the available storage capacity within this under stairs wine display.

Satin brushed aluminium metal inlays have been used in the timber overhead bulkhead and sides. This adds an additional fresh modern twist instead of brass normally used as inlays. The stain aluminium inlay detail runs across the entire bulkhead over the wine display and understairs storage.

Understairs Wine Storage

This understairs wine cellar sits within the clients original allocated space design. The additional under stairs storage section was originally meant to be designed and installed by others.

However, the client felt it made sense that the entire wall, including under the under stairs storage, was part of our wine wall design. To ensure continuity in oak grain and tones, its essential the timber is sourced from the same supply point of purchase. Oak timber panels will differ in grain and tone from different supply chains. It is therefore also best practise that they are sourced and stained by the same supplier. Here at Vinomagna, all our staining and timber treatment is done in house as one process to ensure matching finish quality control.
