This luxury wine storage display was an alternative option for what was in this case, going to be a kitchen pantry. Overall this is a luxurious, bright showpiece that is within what was only a 4m2 footprint. The joinery finish in this display is a sprayed off-white finish therefore giving the space a more open feel. Floor to ceiling double glazing within a black aluminium door frame that ensures an airtight seal. The large center opening door has a custom door handle that sits directly on the glass. The overhead bulkhead has a reflective mirrored acrylic cladding finish. This conceals the refrigeration cooling system sat behind the air diffuser grill.

Sprayed moisture-resistant joinery

The internal core of the timber is a moisture-resistant fibreboard. This luxury wine storage comes down to an internal temperature of 6°C. Under those circumstances, the joinery longevity is essential in the cold and damp environment. Eventually, natural untreated timber will contract and deform in a cold and damp wine cellar.

With this in mind, the selected paint finish is also fortified with a waterproofing lacquer to further prevent ingress water.

Horizontal bottle walls

In this case, our focus was to keep the main display as wide as possible and make use of the entire space, therefore we added low profile wine storage cabinetry to the side walls. As a result, we increase the bottle capacity within the display with only a 200mm reduction to the centrepiece. Notice our signature stone cladding to the rear of the side walls. The bottles sit on aluminium polished rods, illuminated from floor to ceiling by linear led perimeter lighting.


The top row has been designed for champagne standing bottles. Another key point to note is we only recommend carbonated bottles like champagne ever be in the upright position like this.

Led Lighting

Waterproof led lighting has been used throughout this luxury wine storage.


The led lighting gives this small Wine Display a bigger presence in the surrounding kitchen. Daylight colour LED lighting is a very clean looking light great for bright illuminations. The lighting control design involves a series of dimmable drivers to ensure the right tune balance within the theme.

Walk-in wine rooms

A Walk-in Wine Room featured within a bigger entertaining area adds an exciting showpiece to the room. It is important to bear in mind that these walk-in wine rooms are climate controlled for wine storage, therefore, while they look great you won’t be wanting to spend too long in a 6 – 14°C room. For this reason, it is important to remember it’s the kind of space you want to be able to admire in a more habitable surrounding setting.
